Welcome to Leigh Elim Church

 

 

 

We are a vibrant, family friendly, growing Pentecostal Church that celebrate the death and resurection of Jesus Christ and preach that there is only one way to heaven : through the forgiveness that only Jesus can offer.

 

 

We have a number of social projects: a FREE cafe on a Tuesday, bi weekly meetings for the over 50's on A Wednesday, a parents and toddlers group on a Thursday and a cheap cafe Thursday lunch time.

 

 

We are a church that mentors and releases its people; with a church plant on Canvey Island and uniquely a youth work that not only has a youth band but gives over an evening service each month for the youth to lead and preach at.

 

We love the Lord Jesus, and we KNOW that God is real and at work in people's lives.

Lives are being changed, people are being healed and set free from years of bondage and addiction.

 

People are being healed and lives mended.

God is very much on the move.

 

 

 

 

We do not make any charge for prayer requests or to use our on line Bible Study Notes or to listen to our later inspirational messages. All these are FREE.

 

From time to time people ask if they can financially support the work here at Leigh, we have been able to arrange for giving by Smart Phone through Elim HQ. TRUE STORY

'b' a care worker arrived at church on 22 April hardly able to move with a bad back caused by a work related injury. At the ned of the meeting when leaving the buiklding 'b' recieved prayer and by the time of returning home the back injury was completely healed and 'b' was pain free and able to continue with the work.
